Well in the above package you will find the complete software with the following maps
Benelux -dach-france-iberia-italy-scadinavia and UK
the following voices
danish-dutch-english-finish-france-german-italian-norwegian-portoguese-spanish-and swedish

Ii seems that is working perfect but I cannot test during navigation since there is no Greek map availiable at the moment even though I have the greek language package
Can somebody can confirm that Navigation is OK?

What does it mean when the program says: "No metro area installed. Please install at least one metro area"

Hy guys !Like I see, to this time it give not a normal functionaly version of this SW. The majority of us cant become a sat fix ,all prefs file uploaded doesnt work for it. No voice , no good maps for different versions available in this forum, a lot of errors. It seems it is not well cr....kd. Its not working. Is anybody that has a full working version with Eu W+E maps??? Regards

First of all Hello to everybody and please recieve my compliments for the great job you all are doing here !
I am reposting the Smart2Go (MobileNavigator) kit from the first post , 100% functional on MIOmOOV 500 and C320 (may be on other machines too (must have GPS=Com2 / 57600 bauds).
Kind a cute software, I like it (but can we find some East Europe maps for it ?)
A strange protected software , I really have the sensation it is protected against port splitter too !@%!#%!@#%@#$%@# !
It made me lot of nerves !
Anyway I have manage to start the GPS (the original kit was ok , but can't decetct the GPS of my mio moov 500).

So , unpack, and both folders must be copied in the root of the external SD Card.
Now please do the following steps to start the SW :
run G.exe = nothing semms to happen, it is ok !
run (double-click) port splitter.exe = this time a short flash of port splitter appear bur dissapear quickly.
run again port splitter.exe= this time tou will remain in front of the port splitter windows.See Port:C0m2(gray);Baud57600(gray) and COM7 in the central white window.
Press "OK" in the upper right corner.
Run (double-click) on MobileNavigator.exe
Wait few seconds under open sky (the lower bar GPS not found will dissapear.
Wait again about 10-50 seconds and the gps will be ok and the software "ready to go" !!!

This is strictly the steps you must do !!!
If the first attempt fails , that means you have made a mistake, so reset (hardware reset) the machine and remake the above steps !

With your link for Smart2Go, and your clear instructions, for the first time i managed to get the sattelites. Many thanks Now, the folowing problem is to find EEU maps, and another langs and voices ( you know what I mean. )
We must dig on the net , maybe we have luck.

There is some tosh posted on here and it can waste people a lot of time.
So for people who have a working version of Smart2Go and can't get the sound/voices to work it probably is because you have the wrong folder structure.
Because some of these versions offered are probably defunct ex-trial versions, when I couldn't get voices to appear let alone work, I naturally assumed that it was because the voice licence had expired and that therefore no sound would be possible. I was wrong.
This was all predicated on information supplied on here, wrong information as it turned out. Or I was reading it wrong, but I doubt that.

Anyway the duff information is that the structure on the SD card is as follows;-
SDcard\cities and SDcard\MobileNavigator.........in other words cities and Mobile navigator side by side on the root of the SD card. That structure does not work (at least not on my device..a Chinese YF 5" generic GPS).
The correct structure is SD card\MobileNavigator\cities. In other words the cities folder goes inside the MobileNavigator folder on the SD card.
Then when you go Settings>General Settings>Language you will see the Languages in your program, then press the required one and you will see Female and Male voice skins. You can then select the one you prefer. Then press the go back arrow (bottom left) until a tick box is available at the bottom right, press it and then you have your basic voice working.

On some versions it is slightly different, Nokia for example, you will see a voice skins button in General Settings and you press that for choices.

Anyway good luck....I will be working on TTS next....it doesn't work yet on my version.
Smart2Go is quite a pleasant little GPS program to use, and I have tried a lot so I should know.
