what is the primary motive for buying a 240x240 ppc? is it the built in keyboard? the square screen itself? i don't get it...

YEs, it is the build-in keybord. On my FSCT830 with WM5.1 v.195 is one of the best tthings I realized I have, after swiching on from a SE P900 /a symbiqan device/ last year.
Well , you have to respect some limitations due to program mismatches, but in generally, most of teh programs work on this screen, and you get the keybord extra. But it a bit smaller, of course, than the 320x240. So, if you are wearing glasses, you might be uncomfortable with a smaller screen. But if not- try it.

Be careful: during installation process TomTom 6 overwrites these files: BtCoreIf.dll & BtSdkCE30.dll. It disables the sound on iPaq 6515 Smartphone!

I've tested.


The link to the fix are down, but had the same problem on my hw6915, found out that TT6.032 removes sound, but TT6.030 does'nt. So TT6.030 works.

I want to ask what is special about square screen device?why people choose them among standard devices?are they look more beautiful?
in my opinion the nice thing about them is rotating screen is not make sense since your device screen is square....

Usually, SQVGA devices haven't rotation support at all. These devices are smaller, or the space left can be filled for example by hardware keyboard.

I think working with device is really nice,hope i have one of them later,so there aren't any type of this device with big screen?also please someone tell me name of some kind of this device with hardware keyboard
